NOEL HIFFERNAN AWARDED OAM

North Haven’s Noel Hiffernan is among the recipients in the Australia Day 2024 Honours List.
Congratulations go to Noel for receiving a Medal of the Order of Australia (OAM) for service to people with disability, and to the community.
Noel was chair of Greystanes Disability Services for more than a decade. He has also contributed at a governance and committee level to a range of organisations including Breakthru, Connect Child and Family Services, SydWest Multicultural Services and Mountains Youth Services Team.
His many contributions include being a member of the NSW Civil and Administrative Tribunal/Administrative Decisions Tribunal from 2002-2016.
Noel has been a presenter for 2Way FM community radio since 2016.
