VIDEO: PROTECTING OUR PROPERTY RIGHTS

There's been a lot of discussion about keeping our regions and regional industries strong as we reduce carbon emissions.

I've received dozens of emails from across the electorate and the topic has dominated the week in parliament.

I'm listening closely to the opinions of my constituents, which are broad ranging, and I have made my own opinions clear. As we continue to develop policy to reduce Australia's emissions, we need a commonsense approach which is flexible and, above all else, protects regional industries and economies into the future. 

It was great hosting a small, relaxed forum last night for locals to talk to the Deputy Prime Minister. The discussion covered water, road and rail projects, energy and emissions, religious freedoms and our all-important property rights.
