JAMESTRONG PRECISION PACKAGING
Exciting things are happening at Jamestrong Precision Packaging in Taree with a new casting line facility currently under construction.
The casting line will re-shore the manufacture of the aluminium slugs used to make aerosol cans and increase employment on site by around 20 per cent.
This new infrastructure will also see the introduction of recycled aluminium into Jamestrong’s aerosol can production, reducing the use of virgin aluminium and promoting a circular economy.
This sustainable initiative has been made possible through a partnership with the University of New South Wales and support from the Federal Government’s ‘Trailblazer for Recycling and Clean Energy (TRaCE) program.
