SURF CLUB BUILD PROGRESSES

The new Forster Surf Life Saving Club building is getting close to completion.

I joined MidCoast Council general manager Adrian Panuccio, project manager Vaughan Hitchings, and Ron Hartley and Gary Jennings from the club during a recent visit to view the construction work.

It is wonderful to see the progress on this amazing new building, which will be an asset to the Surf Life Saving Club and the wider community.

The new clubhouse is the cornerstone of the Forster Main Beach foreshore redevelopment, which the former Federal Coalition Government supported with $3.159 million.

The new building will serve the community’s needs for decades to come.
