INTERSECTION IMPROVEMENT WORKS

Wingham’s Farquhar/Bent Street intersection improvement works are almost complete with the stamping and linemarking recently finalised.

Further footpath paving and chevron markings are planned for this area.

Essential Energy is also finalising the street lights which will soon be operational.

The Farquhar/Bent Street intersection improvements are part of MidCoast Council's Wingham CBD upgrade project.

The CBD upgrade received over $1-million under the former Federal Coalition Government’s Local Roads and Community Infrastructure Program.
