DUNGOG COMMON MILESTONE
I was delighted to be part of a morning tea to mark 150 years since the establishment of Dungog Common.
It was a chance to reflect on the significance of the cultural and adventure recreation destination and also look ahead, with plans for the future on display.
I also had the chance to catch up on the popularity of the new Pump Track that was funded by a $837,000 grant from the former Federal Coalition Government’s Black Summer Bushfire Recovery Grants Program.
Dungog Common, which is a hub for mountain biking, trail running, horseriding, bushwalking and picnicking, is a wonderful destination for locals, interstate and overseas visitors alike.
I was also thrilled to hear that Dungog Common will host a 2024 world pump track championship qualifier round.
