UPDATE ON WORK OF BLACK DOG INSTITUTE

Mental illness has an enormous impact, not only on individuals but their loved ones and friends.

One in five people will experience symptoms of mental illness in any given year, according to the Black Dog Institute.

I met with the Black Dog Institute in Canberra this week to get an update on their work, particularly their focus on the mental health of our amazing emergency workers in regional areas like ours.

The medical research institute strives to create a mentally healthier world for everyone.
